About the Department

The Department of Mathematics was established at Jaipur, Manipal University in 2011. It offers facilities for research work leading to PhD degree in different branches of Pure and Applied Mathematics. The Department from 2014 is now called The Department of Mathematics & Statistics. The department not only supports the engineering departments by offering core and advance courses in Mathematics at the undergraduate BTech level in various semesters and science departments, but also runs its B.Sc. (Pass Course) , B.Sc. (Hons.) Mathematics, B.Sc. (Hons.) Statistics, MSc courses in Mathematics and Mathematics by research.
